the wedding post
Just a heads up, this post will be veryy image heavy. I've been looking through our buzzilion pictures from our amazing photographer jennifer rau. I tried to only choose my favorites, but this will still be a lot haha.just out of the ceremony :)
ahh my shoes :) steve madden i love you. and always will, even if i can't afford to feed my habit anymore
the orange grove behind our reception venue
scalloped lace, sparkly heels, my hubs cute socks :) love it!
my dress was originally a size 12 and strapless. needless to say, there were many dress fittings
Simple nails. I hate acrylics
candy/dessert buffet. we had little drawstring baggies with our "logo" me and the hub designed stamped on the front
along with sewing 15 tablecloths, my mom spent weeks baking homemade goods for the wedding
ah the bridesmaid dresses. there were lots of problems with these haha. the material we picked out from la ended up being MUCH more pink than I wanted (it was hard to imagine what it would look like with the pink solid material under and the sheer chiffon on top) and then the material wanted to poof a little when you sewed it (all women's dream of course is to look bigger than you actually are right?? especially for two 8 month pregnant ladies!). In the end, my bridesmaid rocked them and look hot :)
typical haha. and yes we had an extremely large bridal party
I made the top tier the night before the wedding. With help from my mom of course!
smashed cake faces haha
dad < 3
adorable niece with her booty popped out, sunnies on, and shakin it like Beyonce!
finally over :)
happily ever after
P.S. we served the most awesome crepes (from Crepes Bonaparte [featured on food networks truck race thing!! haha) but unfortunately have no pictures of them :( but oh they were tasty!
